Coffee agriculture in Indonesia began in the early Dutch colonial period, and has played the important part in the growth of the country. Island Coffee Indonesia is an Indonesian coffee production found in 2016 by Tineke Indradjaya.
Born and grew up in west coast of Central Sumatera, she never loses her passion to travel across Archipelago and having hundreds experiences of enjoying a cup of coffee. Her passion of coffee has been developing since she finished her formal education. The work pressures drove her to enjoy coffee and over the time, the
passion grows.
Tineke loves good quality of coffee and this is driven to introduce a good quality of coffee based on her own experience, and it drove her to be a part of the coffee industry. “Each coffee in this country has a distinctive unique characteristic flavor. Sumatran coffee has a unique characteristic flavor, many Robusta with full body coffee can be enjoyed. While Flores coffee has a distinctive taste with a sweet sensation, the mixed taste of earthy and choco.” She said.
